MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Family & Children’s Services program(s) are to
assist Wichita tribal families to become self-sufficient and
productive community members. By providing “temporary assistance”
through personal contact, individualized case management, referrals
for counseling and/or other related services, child care, financial
assistance (for those who qualify and/or meet criteria), victim
resources, youth services, court advocacy etc., Individual programs
can provide the resources that will help stabilize an individual or
a family in a crisis. This compilation of resources should enable
tribal members to stand on their own abilities & talents, and assist
them in achieving educational or job related skills that will help
them become employable, so that they can provide the necessary
support for their children and/or families. This will help them move
toward self-sufficiency and create a more stable home environment.
The following programs are located in the Family & Children’s
