    POOL MANAGER: The Wichita Housing Authority is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Iscani Pool Manager. Pool Manager is responsible for scheduling lifeguards, inventory of pool supplies and pool maintenance activities. Coordinates water quality testing, including tests performed by other certified pool operators. Enforces rules outlined for Public Bathing Places as specified by the Oklahoma Department of Health regulations. Performs all managerial matters related to the Pool and coordinates activities with the Executive Director. Must be certified, or able to gain certification in first aide, lifeguard, water aerobics, and pool operation. Interested individuals may submit an application and/or resume to the Wichita Housing Authority, 1 S. Coronado Circle, Anadarko, OK 73005. Closing date is March 31, 2015/ Wichita Tribal preference and Native American preference in employment is applicable.

Wichita Indian Reservation

Reservation OutlineEstablished 1872

Commencing at a point in the middle of the main channel of the Washita River, where the ninety-eighth meridian of west longitude crosses the same, thence up the middle of the main channel of said river to the line of 98°40' West longitude, thence on said line of 98°40' due north to the middle of the channel of the main Canadian River, thence down the middle of said main Canadian River to where it crosses the ninety-eighth meridian, thence due south to the place of beginning.

The Wichita Reservation is located today in the northern half of Caddo County, Oklahoma.   The Reservation also includes parts of Grady, Canadian, Blaine, Custer and Washita Counties.
